Windows Operating System Administrator Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows Server environments across the organization, ensuring optimal performance and security. Key duties include installing, configuring, and updating Windows operating systems on multiple workstations and servers. The role requires monitoring system performance, managing user accounts and permissions, and implementing security patches promptly. Additionally, the professional must troubleshoot technical issues, provide user support, and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations. They will also be responsible for backup and disaster recovery planning, network connectivity management, and ensuring compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures.

Windows Operating System Professional Requirements

Candidates must possess 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and server administration. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred. Proficiency with Windows Server 2016, 2019, or later versions is essential, along with strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows security protocols. The ideal candidate should have expertise in system troubleshooting, network administration, and user management. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are crucial. Additional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Associate or CompTIA Security+ would be advantageous for career growth and responsibilities.
