About the Role

As an Instructional Designer at Infopro Learning, you will design and develop learning solutions across multiple modalities including digital, virtual, in-person, and blended .formats for a global enterprise client.

You will collaborate closely with SMEs and cross-functional teams, apply strong instructional design principles, and translate raw content into structured, intuitive learner experiences. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to high-impact learning programs while working as part of Infopro Learning’s dedicated client delivery team.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities and scope will scale based on experience. Designers with greater experience may take on increased ownership of instructional architecture, complex solution design, and collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs.

• Develop storyboards, learning objectives, assessments, and instructional activities using PowerPoint, Word, and modern authoring tools.

• Create detailed instructional blueprints, including structure, flow, and visual specifications, to guide content development.

• Build high-quality instructor-led, virtual, digital, and blended learning materials including instructor guides, participant guides, job aids, activities, and self-study content.

• Visualize learning flows and translate complex content into clear, intuitive learner experiences.

• Use authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adapt to produce SCORM-compliant digital learning assets.

• Incorporate graphics, audio, video, and interactive elements into learning solutions.

• Collaborate with SMEs, project teams, and stakeholders to gather inputs, refine content, and ensure alignment with learning objectives.

• Follow development guidelines, checklists, and style guides to ensure consistency and quality.

• Manage assigned deliverables and ensure timely completion aligned with project timelines.

• Adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, templates, and client workflows, including GenAI-supported development environments.

Your role,

as a Instructional designer, will be to transform learning experiences through

the learning assets and activities you develop. You will drive training

projects from initiation up to closure/sign-off. To be successful in this role,

you would need to manage several concurrent activities, with strong

multi-tasking, prioritization, organizational, and time management skills. One

of the key highlights of this role is to be able to successfully align with all

stakeholders i.e. both, internal and external.

Responsibilities

  • Source input analysis from thecustomer and preparation of questionnaire specific to a project.
  • Visualize the end product basedon the approved learning solution.
  • Develop high level andlow-level design based on adult learning principles.
  • Design game andsimulation-based learning.
  • Design micro and mobilelearning.
  • Set up project-specificstandards and guidelines.
  • Storyboard for courses atvarious levels Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 courses.
  • Review storyboards forinstructional design, writing style, and interactivities planned withinthe training.
  • Review of Alpha and Betaversion of the learning assets.
  • Collaborate and communicatewith customers and other members of the project team on need basis.
  • Support the team and guide forproject specific queries and solutions.
  • Mentor and coach IDs on needbasis.
  • Update and improve knowledge,skills, and attitudes pertaining to the instructional design process andrelated fields.
  • Update and share the learningdevelopment approach of a particular project with cross-functional teamsin the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Any bachelor’s degree isrequired.
  • 3-6 years’ experience ininstructional designing, preferably for corporate / higher-educationverticals.
  • Ability to write content thatis clear, concise, and grammatically correct by using appropriatestandards and writing styles.
  • Knowledge of adult learningtheory and its application to learning solutions
  • Exposure to various kinds oflearning assets in a blended learning program
  • Knowledge of instructionaldesign theories and models
  • Should have experience workingwith SMEs in a team environment
  • Ability to self-manage multipledevelopment projects and deadlines

Preferred:

  • Experience in designing anddeveloping high-end learning products such as business simulations, games,and videos.
  • Experience in curriculum andprogram design.
  • Experience in reviewingstoryboards.

Requirements

What You Bring

4 to 9 years of instructional design experience in corporate learning environments.

Candidates typically fall into one of the following experience bands:

Instructional Designer (4–6 years)

Strong hands-on experience designing and developing learning content across multiple modalities.

Senior Instructional Designer – Advanced (7+ years)

Experience designing more complex learning solutions, structuring instructional flows, and

collaborating closely with SMEs and stakeholders.

Additional qualifications include:

• Strong proficiency developing storyboards and instructional materials in PowerPoint

and Word.

• Hands-on experience with authoring tools including Articulate Storyline and Rise.

• Experience with Adapt, Camtasia, or Adobe tools is a plus.

• Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional designframeworks such as ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Gagné.

• Excellent writing, structuring, editing, and communication skills.

• Experience developing instructor-led, virtual, digital, and blended learning solutions.
