Deep hands-on expertise with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service — report design, dataset management, workspaces, and deployment pipelinesStrong DAX — comfortable writing complex measures, time intelligence, and performance-tuned calculationsSolid Power Query / M skills for data transformation and shapingGood understanding of dimensional data modelling (star schema, slowly changing dimensions, relationships)Experience consuming data from Azure data sources (Azure SQL, ADLS, Synapse, or similar)Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholdersNice to HaveExperience with Azure DevOps for version control and deployment of Power BI assetsFamiliarity with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, or ALM Toolkit for advanced model managementExposure to Fabric or awareness of the Microsoft Fabric roadmapKnowledge of row-level security (RLS) and report-level security designExperience working alongside data engineering teams in an Azure-native environment
