Must-Have Skills
Proficient in performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
Solid experience with Linux, capable of using common system commands (e.g., top, vmstat, iostat) for analysis
Good understanding of fundamental protocols and concepts, including HTTP, TCP/IP, and database interactions
Proven hands-on experience in performance issue troubleshooting (mandatory)
Ability to independently perform end-to-end troubleshooting, not just test execution
Strong analytical skills with a structured, layered approach (application / database / system / network)
Developer skillset in Java and Spring Boot to support performance testing and analysis Database Skills (Highly Important)
Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning
Ability to analyze slow queries and execution plans
Experience with Oracle Database performance analysis is a plus (e.g., AWR reports, wait events analysis)
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with high-concurrency systems and distributed architectures (microservices)
Familiarity with JVM tuning (e.g., GC analysis, thread issues)
Experience in performance analysis of caching and messaging systems (e.g., Redis, Kafka)
Bonus (Nice to Have)
Experience in building performance testing platforms or developing automation tools
Experience in capacity planning
Experience with cloud-native environments (e.g., Kubernetes / K8s)
