Roles & Responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
The IP Network Engineer/Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures. Duties will include:
- Network Design: Develop and execute strategic network architectures that align with business requirements.
- Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new solutions into existing systems, ensuring minimal disruption to network operations.
- Monitoring: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, optimizing the network for efficiency and reliability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation, including design specifications, configuration manuals, and network diagrams.
- Security Implementation: Implement network security measures to safeguard data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
- Project Support: Provide technical support for projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Training: Mentor junior engineers and provide training related to network technologies and best practices.
Requirements
Experience6-10 years’ experience in IP Core Network project.Can Individually handle the project.At least 4-5 IP Network Integration projects handled individually, At least 3-4 IP Core network Integration and expansion projects handled for Telecom customers.Proficient in Integration, Migration and troubleshooting on L2/L3 Switch At least having Integration experience on any of two below mentioned L2/L3 Switches.Cisco Switch (Catalyst / Nexus) Juniper Switch (Ex/QFX)Extreme Switch (Summit/BD/SLX)HP SwitchGood Knowledge on Router’s Integration, Migration and troubleshooting.At least having Integration experience on any of two below mentioned Router’s.Cisco ASR Juniper Router (MX/ACX series)Ericsson Router (R6K/SSR series)Good understanding on Firewalls and preferred to having integration experience on below nodes.Juniper SRXCisco ASAFortiGateA10 FirewallGood understanding of Load Balancer and preferred to having integration experience on below nodes.F5 LTM/GTM upgrade/migration/configuration/integration in Telecom setup is mandatory.Good behavioral & progressive attitude.
