Roles & Responsibility

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized GS Executive to manage the day-to-day

operations of the General Stores department. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of

experience in stores or warehouse operations within a cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or

manufacturing environment. The role involves inventory management, material issuance, stock

maintenance, documentation, and coordination with internal departments to ensure smooth

operations.

Key Responsibilities

 Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of general store materials, consumables, and

engineering items.

 Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in the ERP system.

 Ensure timely material issuance to Production, Maintenance, Admin, and other

departments.

 Perform Goods Receipt (GRN) and verify materials against purchase orders and invoices.

 Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

 Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward material movements.

 Monitor minimum and reorder stock levels and coordinate with Procurement for

replenishment.

 Ensure proper storage practices, labeling, and housekeeping in the stores area.

 Coordinate with vendors and transporters for timely receipt of materials.

 Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.

 Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.

 Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and inventory

records.

Requirements

Required Skills

 Good knowledge of store and inventory management processes.

 Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar).

 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic reporting).

 Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

 Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 Effective communication and coordination skills.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Eligibility Criteria

 Education: Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any relevant discipline.

 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management

in a cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing company.

 Experience in ERP-based inventory management is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

 Experience handling general stores, consumables, maintenance spares, and indirect

materials.

 Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.

 Strong organizational and time management skills.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in inventory management.
