Roles & Responsibility

Responsibilities:

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security. This role involves collaborating with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and developing optimal ETL processes. Additionally, the Data Engineer will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Design and implement scalable and reliable data architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and specifications.
• Develop ETL processes to transform and load data from various sources.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and efficiency.
• Implement data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Conduct regular data audits and maintenance tasks.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies for data engineering.

Requirements

Requirements:

Candidates should have a solid background in data engineering with 4 to 7 years of experience in the field, demonstrating proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, as well as experience with SQL databases. Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark, is essential. Additionally, candidates must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to work in collaborative environments and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficient with SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience in ETL tools such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica.
• Hands-on experience with big data tools such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
