Job Title – Consultant JAVA – Solution /Product DevelopmentLocation- Pune
Job Responsibilities:
 Analyze the requirements by demonstrating strong process/solution/ product knowledge,understanding of the business/IT scenario, understanding of constraints in implementation andtechnology.  Follow the steps for deployment as envisaged in the project plan, foresee possiblecutover issues and plan for them proactively.  Resolve simple common issues with speed and accuracy, understand issue and analyzeroot cause through direct customer interaction.  Participate in client discussions to understand customer problems, articulate to stakeholders,  identify solution bringing the best industry and company practices.Conduct requirements workshops, understand the AS IS processes/ Current System Study and identify high level process/system changes.  Arrive at possible solution alternatives that factor in gap resolution, impact on relatedfunctional areas, acceptability of the solution to the user community, technical feasibility and efficiency.  Train the users (end and key users) and prepare training material.  Assist in presales activities as a SME by giving inputs in solution design and team structure.  Prepare artifacts for marketing and GTM solution activities including case studies IN ORDER TObuild collateral for marketing initiatives.  Handling the team of Business Analysts.  Review the documents created by Team MembersTechnical / Domain Competencies:  Advanced IT skills, especially MS Excel and SQL, JIRA and VISIO  Associate (III) or LOMA (ALMI / ACS) certification  A strong understanding of the life insurance industry with Information Technology (IT) deliveryexperience.  Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate to individuals withdiffering levels of modelling understanding.  Able to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.  Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Work experience, Education Qualification & Soft skills:  BE/B Tech/any engineering graduate/ME/M.Tech/MS/MBA
 Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in life assurance and business analysis  Strong client management skills
