Required Skills
– Good Linux administration experience (RHEL and Ubuntu).
– Excellent Shell Scripting (Bash) with experience in automation.
– Strong knowledge of Cron, Systemd, Linux services, and process management.
– Experience with Linux networking, including TCP/IP, SSH, DNS, routing, and firewall concepts.
– Knowledge of data compression techniques such as gzip, tar, and SSH compression.
– Good understanding of Linux filesystems (XFS, EXT4, NFS) and filesystem administration.
– Experience with RAID, storage management, logical volumes (LVM), and disk management.
– Experience with log analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools such as journalctl, syslog, tcpdump, netstat/ss, lsof, iostat, vmstat, and top.
– Experience with backup frameworks or enterprise backup solutions Preferred skill.
– Good understanding of backup, restore, retention policies, backup validation, and disaster recovery concepts.
Requirements

– Experience with virtualization platforms such as OpenStack, VMware, KVM.
– Knowledge of SNMP, monitoring tools, alerting mechanisms,
– Experience with SFTP/SCP, SSH key-based authentication, and secure file transfer mechanisms.
