Roles & Responsibility
JOB PURPOSE
• Provide L2 support for reporting platforms and business intelligence dashboards used across the enterprise BSS managed services environment.
• Ensure availability, accuracy, and performance of operational and management reports, dashboards, and data pipelines supporting customer and internal stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administer and support reporting platforms: Jasper Reports, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Grafana, Kibana, or equivalent.
• Provide L2 support for BSS operational reports: billing reports, CDR analysis, order management reports, service availability dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting incidents: report generation failures, data inconsistencies, slow report performance, scheduled report failures.
• Manage report definitions, scheduled jobs, and distribution lists on the reporting platform.
• Investigate and resolve data pipeline issues between source BSS systems and reporting data stores.
• Perform ETL/data integration monitoring and troubleshooting for reporting data feeds.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards for NOC, service management, and customer stakeholders.
• Coordinate with application and database teams for data quality issues affecting reports.
• Perform reporting platform administration: user management, permissions, resource optimization.
• Support development and deployment of new reports and dashboards under Change Management.
• Maintain reporting platform documentation, report inventory, and run-books.
• Report on system KPIs: report generation success rate, data freshness, platform availability.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 5–8 years of experience in BI/reporting administration and support.
• Experience with reporting tools: Jasper Reports, SAP BO, Power BI, OBIEE, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SQL for report development and data investigation.
• Experience with monitoring dashboards: Grafana, Kibana, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ETL tools: Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, or equivalent.
• Understanding of BSS data models: billing, order management, CRM data structures.
• Ability to develop and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting purposes.
• ITIL incident and change management awareness.
• English skills – oral and written.

TECHNICAL SKILLS – SYSTEM & PLATFORM COVERAGE
• Power BI/Vertica/Talend – Reporting/BI/Dashboard – Primary platform – Power BI dashboard development and administration, Vertica analytics data warehouse management, and Talend ETL/data integration pipeline operations for all BSS operational reporting
• Monitoring (ENM, MITO ELK) – Operational NOC dashboards in MITO ELK (Kibana/Grafana) – ENM network performance dashboards, infrastructure monitoring visualizations, and real-time BSS operational metrics
• ITSM (MITO) – ITSM KPI reporting – SLA compliance dashboards, incident trend analysis, change success rate reports, and problem management metrics sourced from MITO ITSM
• Ericsson Billing (EB) – Billing data source – CDR processing reports, bill run status dashboards, revenue analytics, and billing error rate trending from EB/BSCS database
• Ericsson Order Management (EOC) – Order management reporting – order completion rate, fallout rate, average processing time, and order volume trending from EOC data
• Ericsson Mediation (EM) – Mediation throughput reporting – CDR feed availability, processing queue depth trends, and mediation KPI dashboards
• CRM (MS Dynamics/MSD) – CRM operational reports – customer case volumes, knowledge article usage, order capture UI performance, and customer service KPIs
• DMS (MS SharePoint) – Report distribution and documentation – SharePoint- based report publishing, scheduled report delivery, and operational document management
• Active Directory – Reporting platform user authentication and access control – AD-integrated Power BI and reporting tool user management
• ITSM (MITO) – Change management for new report deployment, ETL pipeline changes, and reporting platform upgrades
EDUCATION
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
WORKING HOURS
• Business Hours 8×5.
• On-call for P1 reporting platform incidents.
