Roles & Responsibility

Role Overview

The Solution Integrator – IMS is responsible for end-to-end integration, configuration, testing, and deployment of IMS solutions within telecom networks. The role ensures seamless interoperability of IMS components across multi-vendor environments while maintaining high service quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Integration & Deployment

 Perform end-to-end integration of IMS nodes (e.g., CSCF, SBC, TAS, DNS/ENUM).

 Execute installation, configuration, and commissioning of IMS solutions.

 Preparation of delivery specific MOPs and execution of Live node Activities.

 Ensure alignment with design documents, HLD/LLD, and customer requirements.

2. Testing & Validation

 Conduct system integration testing (SIT), interoperability testing (IOT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

 Validate VoLTE, VoWiFi, and other IMS-based services.

 Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure defect resolution.

3. Network Configuration & Optimization

 Configure SIP protocols, routing, and call flows.

 Optimize IMS network performance and ensure KPI adherence.

 Support parameter tuning and capacity management.

4. Troubleshooting & Support

 Analyse logs, traces, and signalling flows (SIP/DIAMETER).

 Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

 Provide L2/L3 support during deployment and post-integration phases.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

 Work closely with solution architects, design teams, and customers.

 Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, PACO, Transport).

 Support customer discussions and technical workshops.

6. Documentation & Reporting

 Prepare integration plans, test reports, and acceptance documents.

 Maintain knowledge repositories and standard operating procedures.
