As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and defining the overall cloud security framework and architecture to align with organizational goals. The professional documents the deployment of cloud security controls and oversees the smooth transition of these controls into ongoing cloud security-managed operations, collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain a secure cloud environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies to protect organizational assets.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure security requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Continuously evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the cloud security posture.
