Job Title: IT SOX Tester

Role Summary

Responsible for executing SOX control testing under SOX 404 compliance to support management

certification and enable external auditor reliance (KPMG) within SOX program.

Key Responsibilities

 Execute testing of ITGCs, ITACs, and ITAC-R controls across in-scope systems

 Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness using established SOX 404 methodology and phased testing approach

 Perform testing across core ITGC domains, including Logical Access, Change Management, and IT Operations controls

 Document walkthroughs, test procedures, and results in Workiva GRC

 Validate completeness and accuracy of system-generated reports

 Identify and document control issues, including root cause and impact

 Support remediation tracking and perform retesting

 Coordinate with IT, Finance, and Internal Controls teams for walkthroughs and evidence

 Support external audit reliance through timely, high-quality documentation

KPIs / Performance Measures

 On-time Completion: Controls tested within SOX timelines

 Quality of Testing: Minimal rework from management and KPMG

 Audit Reliance: Controls accepted for external audit reliance

 Issue Management: Timely identification and closure of deficiencies

 Documentation Compliance: Alignment with Workiva and SOX standards

Requirements

Qualifications

 2–5 years in IT audit or SOX testing

 Strong understanding of SOX 404 requirements, including ITGC, ITAC, and reporting controls

 Experience with enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce)

 Strong documentation and stakeholder coordination skills

 Execute testing of ITGCs, ITACs, and ITAC-R controls across in-scope systems

 Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness using established SOX 404 methodology and phased testing approach

 Perform testing across core ITGC domains, including Logical Access, Change Management, and  IT Operations controls

Preferred

 CISA, CPA (or in progress)

 Experience with Workiva or GRC tools
