Team Handling

Roles & Responsibility

• Manage updates to payroll related data via self-service or payroll updates to banking or tax data.

• Manage the receipt of other earnings, deductions, and/or payments.

• Manage the receipt, coordination, and processing of legally required employee deductions including, but not limited to, levies, child support, and tax payments.

• Complete tasks required to calculate and produce the final payments for an Employee who is voluntarily or involuntarily terminated. 

• Receive, balance and load inbound exchange files. This includes calculation of balances and other activities for managing final Payout for terminations.

• Manage process to obtain approvals for payroll, including any final payout calculated for terminations.

• Manage on and off cycle payroll processing, including consolidating all gross employee earnings and deductions to produce net pay. Process and distribute checks and pay slips, including electronically, for employees.

• Manage the creation and sending of the data exchange file to a third party or internal client source. Some examples include Union fees & payments, cafeteria payrolls, etc.

• Execute the treasury funding process by informing the designated parties the necessary bank account funding requirements for payroll related withdrawals / payments.

• Post all payroll related cost allocations to the appropriate GL accounts for on and off cycle payroll runs.

• Coordinate payroll data transmission with third party institutions for payroll processing.

• Manage the receipt, research, and resolution of returned banking details/deposits and returned/outstanding checks.

• Submit and process payment reversals, such as reverse a check, and related year to date balances, when a check was issued in error. Process submission, receipt, and data entry of various types of adjustments including but not limited to time, compensation, voluntary and involuntary deductions, fleet charge related corrections, and arrears/retros.

• Produce and distribute employee year-end tax statements.

• Complete tasks required to calculate, produce and process the separation packages for terminations (i.e., Garden Leave).

Requirements

Must Have 

• Graduate in any stream

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in Global Payroll Processing

• Results and deadline driven

• Must have minimum 2-4 years of team handling experience

• Good experience in coordinating with customer and vendor for Payroll inputs and validation

• Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Experience in HRMS/ERP like (SAP, SuccessFactors, workday etc.)

Good to have

• Experience in multi country payroll processing will be an advantage

• Experience on Payroll systems such as ADP Streamline, Celergo, SAP Payroll, CGI, Lessorlon, Decidium or Dayforce will be added advantage
