Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of manufacturing equipment and machinery. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and supporting installation and commissioning of new machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant machinery.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Handle maintenance of key equipment such as compressors, ovens, stamping presses, and stamping dies.
- Diagnose faults and ensure minimum downtime of machines.
- Support installation, commissioning, and trial runs of new machinery.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure continuous machine availability.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintenance procedures.
- Assist in improving machine efficiency and reliability through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory for critical equipment.
Requirements
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance in manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics systems
- Understanding of industrial machinery (presses, compressors, ovens, dies, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of MCC (Motor Control Center) and control panel wiring
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and machine manuals
- Strong focus on safety and compliance
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing industry
- Exposure to machine installation and commissioning
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to machinery
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems or ERP
BE / DME: Mechanical- 4 – 6 yrs Experience- From Manufacturing Industry- All machineries, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, compressors, oven, stampingpress, stamping dies- General knowledge of MCC and control panels wiring will be advantage, installation ofnew machinery
