Responsibilities
To aid with establishing and enhancing the quality of engagement with Customers/Strategic Partner/Reseller Technical “Pre-Sales” for a network-based integrated security solution Design, architect and, present a viable techno-commercial solution centered around the company’s network security product Do and demonstrate functionality, performance and business benefits of the recommended solution for enterprise & service provider customer requirements Prepare customer focused technical white-papers and Tech-Notes Prepare customer focused Business and Use Case-studies Stay on top of “current events and trends” in Information Security
Requirement
At-least 6 – 8 years of experience with a reputed organization Align with the business objectives and needs of the organization Adapt from being a team member to an individual contributor “on need” Professional experience in IT Security, Local/Metropolitan/Wide Area Network with experience in implementation and management of equipments like Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, High-end Routers/Switches/Traffic-Shapers Experience/Exposure to heterogeneous IT environments and proficiency in multiple networking gears and Operating-Systems Exposure to all phases of “call-to-collect” sales processes for Network Security solutions with Enterprises/Service Provider Customers – Product Pitch, Requirement Analysis, Solution Design, Product Evaluation, RFP/RFI responses and preparation, Plan-of-Records for implementation, deployment and, up-keep Exposure to security standards/practices like ISO/IEC 27001/27002, Standard of Good Practices, ISACA |
