STRATEGIC AIMS: Manage complex services engagements through the entire project lifecycle
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Solution Delivery • Responsible for engagement delivery • Manage multi-phase, multi-dimensional multi -resource projects from inception to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction • Estimate timelines and resources, create detailed project plan • Drive compliance with operational aspects of the consulting practice: o Ensuring delivery of contractual commitments o Ensuring project portfolio mix meets corporate & vertical objectives o Ensuring adherence to Project Management Office (PMO) delivery & risk mitigation standards o Monitor and adjust estimates to integrate new constraints • Responsible for the ultimate success and satisfaction of internal AND external customers and partners: o Focus on increasing customer & partner satisfaction targets through strong communication & relationship management skills o Own & resolve key issues upon escalation o Identify & proactively resolve issues which encumber delivery
2. Strategy and Business Development • Assist internal customers in definition and development of service line strategy and offerings • Assist in developing proposals, working with pre-sales to assist with deal closure resulting in a healthy pipe and backlog and partnering with Resource Manager to staff project teams • Maintain key business relationships and enable achievement of specific objectives around all products/GTMs for their respective business segments • Assist in maintaining/enhancing the readiness process for offerings within specific areas of expertise in Practice
3. Other • Enhance knowledge base and contribute to Client’s internal Knowledge Management System • Has played the Technical Consulting/Architect role in the past and met the requirements of those roles. • Customized presentations & Training
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 8+ years working experience in Consultancy, Architecting, Design, Deployment and/or support of software-related products or services • Solid understanding of Client’s technology, competitive positioning and experience in the delivery of large complex, strategic projects • Strong Project Management skills and experience • Stellar oral/written communication, organization and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated effectiveness in a managerial role • Understanding of IT applications to several industry verticals will be a significant plus
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • A bachelors degree in Engineering – BE, BTech or Equivalent. • Industry Certifications such as PMP, MCSD.Net, CISSP
SUCCESS CRITERIA: • Quality of work as measured by customer satisfaction, repeat business and extensions • Delivering projects in accordance with internal quality standard and requirements • Development and maintenance of relevant technical and industry expertise • Quality of contributions to the knowledge management system • Customer testimonials & Case Studies |
