Attack & Penetration techniques and methodologies
Sniffers (keywords: Ethereal, tcpdump) & Protocol analysis
Scripting knowledge of shell or Perl
DESIRED SKILLS:
Familiarity with Language environment with C/C++
Experience in protocol decodes
Experience with Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, fragrouter, whisker
Experience with Snort, Dragon IDS, Cisco SecureIDS and/or other NIDS or HIDS
Experience in tools: Filemon, TDImon, Regshot, IDAPRO,
CEH/SANS Certified
Education: B.E./B.Tech/ M.E./ M.Tech from reputed institutes such as IIT/NIT, BITS, etc
