Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of how an SOE works / is put together
• Symantec Deploycenter: PXE booting, Networking, XP NIC driver knowledge
• Desktop troubleshooting skills.
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethics.
• Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines.
• Candidate must have excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
• Flexible to work in shifts (24 x 7) supporting critical production environment.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically Word & Excel.
Responsibilities
• 3rd level support for Infrastructure Servers.
• 3rd level support for systems management Agents.
• Liaise with vendor for supported products.
• Testing and deployment of Technotes / patches to infrastructure.
• Ad-Hoc project requests involving supported toolsets.
• Identify improvements to service.
• Engineer, test and deploy identified improvements.
• Creation of standard reports within the toolsets.
• Creation and maintain a lab environment that mirrors the production environments. |
