Job Description:
Work as part of the Storage Market Solutions Team creating and supporting solution development, in relation to all areas of Storage and Data protection. Solution development includes the complete cycle from concept through to the account deployment / pilot, working with architecture and MCS functions to provide a packaged product we can market within CLIENT. Storage Solution Engineers provide the integration of components, and the process documentation to backup the ability to deploy our solutions within CLIENT. Working as part of a global team and leveraging our LAB facilities and account deployment to create the solutions.
Skills Reqd.
Strong knowledge of Storage devices and management software, (HDS, EMC, Netapps).
Strong Knowledge of Backup software and configuration (Symantec NBU).
Understanding of NAS / SAN and associated technology to provide these environments.
Good communication skills. Good problem resolution skills. Able to organize/manage meetings. Excellent customer elevated support skills.
Ability to write Technical Documentation, and articulate responses at a appropriate level
Ability to take a lead role when required, and drive deliverables through a global team.
Various OS skills, Windows, Unix, Linux. General administration.
Work as part of global team. |
