The MGSI team is one of the fastest growing organizations. Since its establishment in early 2005, it has been a core delivery engine for delivering complex customer solutions across various Microsoft platforms. The Industry Solutions Group which is a part of the Client Services Organization focuses on building leading edge product frameworks and solutions for specific Industry verticals. This startup team works on core Microsoft platforms and is looking for people that are passionate about building or being part of a startup team. The group needs people that are passionate about making a HUGE impact in Clients global engineering efforts in India.
As we continuously grow this global engineering team in India, establish core competencies around various Technologies, we are actively seeking strong leaders who could effectively grow, develop and manage all aspects of the solutions teams in Hyderabad, India.
The Solutions Team is trying to set up an engineering center through MGSI, being responsible for delivering complete CSF-based solutions to the operators all over the world in the field of communications. The solutions we provide will enable consumers to use Microsoft products with great ease on their mobile phones or through their home broad band Internet connections. You will have an exciting opportunity to build and lead a world-class development team that will help Client provide software as services. |

Enhanced Voice Services (EVS) offer more value to Voice Over IP (VOIP) offerings targeted toward SMBs by including the optimal combination of applications and services for that market: feature-rich VOIP, email, and collaboration via SharePoint.
For Service Providers, this translates into operational excellence through higher SLAs and lower TCO.
This subscription-based service lets Service Providers pay only for active voice services and offer the opportunity to up sell mailboxes.
Responsibilities:
1.Define strategic direction, manage development efforts and ensure delivery against commitments.
2.The position requires working with internal and external customers, product managers, and technical teams.
3.The manager must have the skills to effectively communicate with technical teams, business owners and senior management.
4.Successful candidates should have experience leading and managing technical teams, delivering large scale, quality solutions, managing budgets and resources and an understanding of software development processes (particularly at Client).
Qualifications for this position include:
1.This position requires at least 8+ years of development experience including multiple ship releases of a commercial software product and 3+ years prior Management experience.
2.Strong architecture and design skills; ability to resolve ambiguity and deliver solutions that are sustainable and well factored are must have. We need a deep technical leader who has strong architectural vision, highly developed design skills, superior project management capability, and who deeply enjoys people coaching, mentoring, and leadership.
3.A deep understanding of software development process, demonstrated proficiency in designing developer-level specs, and ability to work effectively both within a team and cross-group to create designs and to identify and manage dependencies, and drive to resolve issues and ship under tight deadlines.
4.Ability to work closely with program managers, developers and testers in multiple locations, on multiple projects.
5.Experience in VoIP Protocols (SIP, RTP, RTCP) and VoIP systems.
6.Strong Windows, Win32, .NET (C#) design and testing skills.
7.Previous experiences in Web Services, SOAP/XML and SQL, ADO.NET, CSF, Networking are pluses. |
